Don’t miss Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event this Saturday

Symphony in the Cities event

What are you doing this weekend? We’re celebrating our 30th anniversary in 1980s style at the Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event on Saturday, July 28.

With an 80s theme and spectacular Pacific Symphony Orchestra, the fun takes place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Oso Viejo Community Park on the Village Green and neighboring Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

With music under the stars and tons of fun for all ages, this year’s event is even more meaningful as the City of Mission Viejo celebrates its 30th anniversary of incorporation.  Featuring a Musical Playground, the Prelude in the Park is from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. with the concert starting at 7 p.m.  Guests will be treated to a sensational 1980s dance party before the Pacific Symphony takes center stage.

Beer and wine and tasty fare will be available for purchase from gourmet food trucks Cousins Maine Lobster, Ninjas with Appetite, StickABerry and Burning Buns.

Free admission and shuttle rides from the Civic Center at 200 Civic Center from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
