Try these Music Classes for free Aug. 20

Calling all kids ages 5-12! Grab your parents and head to the Potocki Center for the Arts on Monday, August 20 for free sample music classes. 

At 5:30 p.m., the Let’s Play Music class kicks off for kids ages 4-6. This group class uses singing, games, full-body movement and discovery to teach piano skills, music theory, ear training, note reading, rhythm, composition, classical music studies and more. 

An hour later at 6:30 p.m., kids ages 7-12 can check out the Presto music class. Whether they’ve had piano lessons or not, beginning pianists will embrace this fun class that covers complete musicianship, vocal training, sight reading, music theory, history, piano technique and more taught in a fun, snappy style tweens will love!
