Don't miss DAWG Walk & Adoption Extravaganza Oct. 6
Make plans for the DAWG Walk & Adoption Extravaganza on Saturday, October 6 along the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park.
The City of Mission Viejo Animal Services Center and Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) host this fun event, which traditionally takes place in June.
This year's event has expanded to include several rescue groups with loving canines and felines in every size and breed ready for adoption. The event also includes a pristine walk along the Oso Creek Trail and Pet Faire with local businesses, pet and wildlife exhibits, a Howl-A-Ween pet contest and more.
Registration for the walk begins at 7 a.m.; the opening ceremony is at 8 a.m. and the walk takes place around 8:15 a.m. The Pet Faire is free and runs until noon. The DAWG Walk is $25 (pre-registration by Oct. 2) and $30 on the day of the event.
Proceeds benefit the orphaned animals at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center at 28095 Hillcrest. Visit dawg.org to register today.

How does this work if we just want to adopt a dog? Do we go on the walk and meet the dogs as we go? How much are children to walk? Is everyone $25.
Thanks,
