The City, Mission Viejo Police Services and Drug Enforcement Administration will host a National Prescription Medication Take-Back Day event on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Civic Center parking lot.
You can drive through and drop off unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications for proper disposal - free and anonymous. Liquids, needles and sharps will NOT be accepted. No need to remove mediations from the original packaging, since medication and packaging - including bottles and labels - are incinerated.
National Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs. The event at 200 Civic Center Drive takes place rain or shine.
