Join us for Hometown Halloween Oct. 27

With Halloween just around the corner be sure to mark your calendar for Hometown Halloween, a festive community celebration that caters to all ages.

Bring your family, neighbors and friends to this colorful event that takes place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, October 27 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

Hometown Halloween features pony rides, games, crafts, musical entertainment, themed characters, a costume parade and pint-sized pumpkin patch.  Courtesy of the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, the costume contest begins at 5 p.m. Your family will enjoy even more spooky fun after 6 p.m. when the lights go down for glowing games and a Haunted Moonlight Maze.

Tickets for the activities are 50 cents each. The costume parade and trick-or-treat stations are free.
