Silverado High School students feted by Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo

Three Silverado High School students were recognized Tuesday for their achievements by the Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo.  Principal David Gordon attended the club's breakfast meeting to highlight each student's accomplishments.

Students are nominated by their teachers with final selection decided by the school's administration staff.  With so many students nominated this year, it was the students' grade-point achievement that sealed the deal.   All three students are seniors graduating next year.

Quinten Gould was recognized for his academic excellence and involvement in the school's student committee that reviews Silverado's standards of conduct.  Quinten also takes part in an ROP auto mechanics class after school. Olivia Frazier and Jorli "Charlie" Enfinger were both honored for their outstanding academic records, spirit and attitudes.

The Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo supports and fosters the education and success of local students through quarterly recognition events, scholarships and mentoring of the high schools' Key Clubs and the colleges' K Clubs.
