Hygiene kit donations sought for Orange County's Point-In-Time Homeless Count & Survey
Donations of hygiene kits are sought as part of Orange County's 2019 Point-In-Time Homeless Count and Survey January 23-24.
Donations of quart-size Ziploc bags; Chapstick; travel-size lotion, hand sanitizer and tissues; pairs of socks and beanies will be distributed during the homeless count, which will provide the county with updated numbers and demographics on the homeless population to help guide its response to the growing issue.
Along with hygiene kits, letters of compassion as well as one-day OCTA bus passes are sought.
People can drop off donations by 2 p.m. January 17 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
