Donate food, diapers to help people in need
The City of Mission Viejo has launched a community-wide food drive with Families Forward to help the less fortunate in our area.
Drop off canned and nonperishable food items through May 31 in the food bin located inside the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
The most-needed items include beans, canned chicken, fish, fruits and vegetables; soups, chili and chowders; peanut butter; cereal; plain rice; pasta; crackers; spaghetti sauce; and fruit juice. Donations of baby food and formula, diapers, baby wipes and toilet paper, paper towels and tissues are also sought.
The nonprofit Families Forward helps about 7,000 low-income adults and children with food each year, allowing families to focus on paying for other necessities such as rent or utilities.

To Whom It May Concern:
Is there a need for adult diapers, I have a small supply of female adult diapers and rash lotions. I also would like to donate a couple of wheel chairs, commode, and bath chair in excellent condition.
Please advise at your earliest opportunity.
Attentively,
Elizabeth Orozco
