Inaugural Mission Viejo Bocce Classic Nov. 2
If you're looking for a fun and exciting day, make plans for the SoCal Bocce Association's final tournament of the season on Saturday, November 2 at the Mission Viejo bocce courts.
The competition includes 16 teams from San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County.
Opening ceremonies kick off at 7:30 am with tournament play starting at 8 am. The free daylong event is expected to end by 9 pm.
Bocce is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world with more than 25 million people playing in the United States. Whether you've participated in the sport or watched local players compete while walking along the Oso Creek Trail, you're invited to see some of the state's best bocce players in action. The event is hosted by the enthusiastic and talented folks of the Mission Viejo Bocce Club. They are happy to explain the rules, so you don't miss the play-by-play excitement!
