Public invited to Drug Abuse Awareness Plaque Dedication Oct. 29
The City of Mission Viejo will host a public plaque dedication ceremony on Tuesday, October 29 at the new Lakeside Park nestled at the corner of Marguerite and Alicia Parkway.
The one-hour unveiling ceremony, which starts at 3 pm, is meant to pay tribute to the young lives lost too soon to drug overdose and inspire people who choose to live drug free.
The event comes on the heels of the City's 31st annual Walk Against Drugs and is part of an ongoing effort to combat drug and alcohol abuse among our youth.
The ceremony includes refreshments along with valuable resources.
Parking will be available along Marguerite Parkway on the lake side. For more information, call 949-470-3062.
