Santa's new and traditional programs begin Nov. 29
With the pandemic, Santa has shifted his plans a bit this year to keep everyone safe by hosting a "Stop, Wave and Go" program at Santa's Village every Saturday and Sunday from November 29 through December 20 in the Civic Center Plaza at 200 Civic Center.
From 6 to 8 pm, families and individuals can drive-through Santa's Village to stop, wave and drop off a letter to Santa and Mrs. Claus. During this time, folks must remain in their vehicles. Other days and times, however, the Civic Center workshop area will be available for families to stroll and view the holiday decorations and lights. Masks must be worn and social distancing is required.
Along with the Stop and Wave program, Santa promises to answer every letter dropped off in his workshop mailbox between November 29 and December 21. For the Letters to Santa program, be sure to print names and addresses clearly, so jolly ole St. Nick can pen a personalized letter back.
