Drive-Through Toy Collection Event Dec. 5 will benefit families in need

The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) and KWAVE are teaming up to collect and distribute toys to nonprofits throughout Orange County. With the ongoing pandemic, the need for toys has never been greater.

Many people are out of work and unable to provide gifts for their young children and teenagers. So far, more than 32,000 toys have been requested. You can help by donating new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment through a drive-through toy donation event on Saturday, December 5 from 9 am to 1 pm at Crossline Church in Laguna Hills at 23331 Moulton Parkway.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, OCFA stations are not collecting toys this year. However, you can also make a monetary donation through the OCFA Foundation or can drop off toys leading up to Christmas weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm at the KWAVE warehouse in Santa Ana at 3232 West MacArthur.
