Scott Turow Testimony book cover

Scott Turow, a New York Times bestselling author and one of the top writers in the country, will discuss his new legal thriller "Testimony" in Mission Viejo on June 6.

Turow will appear in the City's insanely popular Writers Present program at 7 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 23942 Veterans Way.  The Orange County Register's Book Club is partnering with the City for this program, with pop culture reporter Peter Larsen serving as moderator.

Dubbed the master of the courtroom drama, Turow's latest page-turner is about an American prosecutor's investigation of a refugee camp's mystifying disappearance. The book is Turow's first in four years and his most irresistibly confounding and satisfying novel yet.

Turow's appearance includes a special VIP "Meet & Greet" reception, reserved seating, book signing and a hardcover copy of "Testimony." See detailed ticket options and make your reservation online.

This award-winning writer's appearance follows Mission Viejo author visits by basketball icon Bill Walton and "60 Minutes" reporter Lesley Stahl.  Seating is limited.
