eclipse

Keep your eyes on the skies: The Great American Eclipse is almost here. In fact, it takes place on Monday, August 21.

In San Diego, the sun will likely be obscured by nearly 60 percent when the moon crosses in front of it. The eclipse is expected to last from 9 a.m. until around noon.
NASA has created an interactive eclipse map where you can find out exactly what time the eclipse starts where you are by clicking your location.
