Walk Against Drugs
In celebration of this 32nd year and new platform, the virtual Walk Against Drugs video event will feature a mosaic of images highlighting past events.
Along with walking down memory lane, the virtual Walk Against Drugs will unite the community in living healthy lifestyles and saying NO to drugs, alcohol, tobacco and vaping.
With current health directives and to keep our community safe during the pandemic, this year’s Walk Against Drugs will be held virtually on Saturday, October 17 at 8 a.m. – with a contest designed to help students be more successful in school. The annual Walk Against Drugs is a collaboration of local businesses, school districts, the City of Mission Viejo and Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

About 4,000 people will endorse a drug-free lifestyle during Mission Viejo’s 31st annual Walk Against Drugs & Community Fair on Saturday, October 19.
The City, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, school districts, businesses, service groups, students and families will unite for one of the City's biggest events.

The Mission Viejo community is still celebrating the success of this year’s Walk Against Drugs, a longtime event designed to promote healthy choices and drug-free lifestyles.
On Saturday, thousands – sporting red T-shirts – took to the streets and walked up and down La Paz Road from Mission Viejo High School to Oso Viejo Community Park. Once again, this event united City, Sheriff’s Department, schools, businesses, residents and community groups in sharing the message.
