New COVID-19 testing options available throughout OC

testing

People with or without symptoms of COVID-19 can obtain a free assessment and testing through the OC COVID-19 Testing Network.

The network includes community health centers throughout the County that offer testing and care, even if you don’t have health insurance. If you test positive, your close contacts (folks who’ve been within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes) will be tested or referred to another location for testing.

Register for testing at this link. For more information, call 888-634-1123.

I would recommend the city of mission viejo to send test kits to every residents, according to the size of their household, to self test (properly vetted before being distributed infection free) with proper instructions on how to properly seal the sample to avoid the examiners from being infected and develop a call center for residents to call for the sample to be picked up in a timely and safely manner. Therefore, eliminating the risk of residents, being tested at a test center, to be infected by the virus. I swear, I think the test centers are causing several spike in infections... and can you really trust those working at the test sites?

Please provide free COVID-19 testing for all MV residents who have no health coverage. In addition, please set up testing sites to encourage all MV residents to be tested in order to show accuracy of this disease in our community. By only providing tests to those showing symptoms, it does not provide the State with the accuracy of health in our community. Thank you for your time.

I am traveling overseize and would like to have a PCR Test done if possible. I would not be able to enter that country without the test.

This is a waste of time. No wonder it spreads so fast. Can’t get anyone to answer a phone and no help

My whole family needs to be tested as we were in contact with someone that tested positive on Dec 26th. I have tried the links about and they do not work past the first couple of screens. How are people supposed to be responsible and get tested when it is rather difficult. Our insurance will not pay for it if we are asymptomatic and not sick. This is frustrating.
