Evacuation Warning issued for Zone 1 in Mission Viejo

evacuation zone 1

The Silverado Fire has necessitated that an evacuation warning be issued for Zone 1 in Mission Viejo - the Painted Trails and Sky Ridge communities north of the 241 Toll Road. An evacuation warning is not mandatory however, residents are being asked to prepare to evacuate in the event that a mandatory evacuation is ordered.

The City of Mission Viejo is coordinating with Mission Viejo Police Services and Orange County Fire Authority. If you are in Zone 1, please be ready: charge your phone and pack a bag. If you feel you will have trouble moving quickly, please leave now. Stay tuned to the City's social media channels and local news. Emergency information will also be provided to affected residents through AlertOC.

Call the County hotline at (714) 628-7085 for more information and view the full evacuation map here.

The full evac base map does not show modern streets! Its more than 30 years old. Please have them upgrade it so I can find my area.
Thank you!

Would you be so kind as to publish a complete map of Mission Viejo’s zones to give us some idea as where we are relative to zones where evacuation is either advised or mandatory.
Many thanks
