Take part in Mission Viejo Tree Planting event May 1

Volunteers are sought to help beautify the community and benefit the environment during a special Mission Viejo Tree Planting event on Saturday, May 1. 

The MVEduenviro group at Capistrano Valley High School is teaming up with the City to host the event from 9:30-11:30 am at the Upper Oso Creek Trail near the Village Green in Oso Viejo Park.  

Volunteers, who should sport closed-toe shoes and appropriate garb, will dig and plant one to two trees per volunteer or group. Water, materials and tools (shovels and gloves) will be provided that day.  

Masks are required, and volunteers are asked to arrive 15-30 minutes before the event.
