The City is partnering with Partners4Wellness.org to promote a series of helpful webinars designed to address the ongoing crisis of teen suicide.

The first webinar - "Working Together to Prevent Suicide" - is at 4 pm on April 13 via Zoom. During this virtual panel discussion for young adults 16-24, experts in the field will discuss prevention and education strategies; recognizing warning signs; how to help someone in need; and more.

The webinar is essential as teen suicide continues to increase in alarming numbers across Orange County due to the impact of the pandemic. Schedules have been disrupted, social events postponed or cancelled and economic stability for many families remains uncertain.

This free webinar can help teens, young adults and families find support, resources and professional services.

Being on the Community of Character Committee for many years, I always learn so much when we have seminars on youth.
I do know several people who have lost young people to suicide in this Pandemic so am anxious to hear any information to pass on to these people.
Thanks,
Pat Felbinger

This is a wonderful service. Thank you for providing it to our community. I will share this information with my college students and parent friends as well.
