Experienced kitten bottle-feeding fosters urgently needed
It's officially kitten season! This means the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center needs experienced bottle-feeding fosters. Every year the center takes in hundreds of orphaned kittens in need of care. While many are eating on their own, there are also a large number of kittens who are without their mothers and cannot feed themselves. These adorable kittens wouldn't make it if it weren't for our foster families. Mission Viejo Animal Services will provide medical care, food, and supplies for all foster parents. All you have to do is provide your unconditional love, care and dedication to feeding the babies. Bottle fed babies require feedings every few hours until they are able to eat on their own.
If you are an experienced bottle feeder, please fill out a foster application.
Want to help but can't foster? You can help support Mission Viejo Animal Services by donating supplies. The center needs chicken baby food, canned pumpkin, electrical heating pads (non-automatic shutoff), kitten baby bottles, breeders' edge feline milk replacer, and baby blankets. Donations can be dropped off at the main gate Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Hi, How do we become…
Hi,
How do we become experienced bottle feeder or foster family? Is there a training or class?
Can we take in a orphaned kitten, with no foster experience, but if we have had cats before?
Thank you.
Just a couple of questions,…
Just a couple of questions, where do you get hundreds of orphaned kittens, and why doesn’t animal control provide free spade and neuter services for the animals. This seems like a once and done solution to animal over population.
