Wild Fork Foods will open its first California market in Mission Viejo

wild fork foods

Wild Fork Foods is expected to open its first California brick-and-mortar market in Mission Viejo before the end of the year.

The specialty food market will move into the old Walgreens tenant space in the Trabuco Hills Shopping Center at 27785 Santa Margarita Parkway, Suite 100.

Wild Fork Foods offers quality beef, pork, chicken, lamb and seafood as well as specialty meats like bison, goat, goose, quail and duck year-round. The store has applied for a conditional use permit from the City to sell alcohol.

The roughly 10,000-square-foot building will be reconfigured to accommodate two or three retail or commercial service tenants. The building will also receive a comprehensive façade renovation to update the architecture along with upgrades to the parking lot and landscape areas.

Wild Fork Foods markets its products via e-commerce, and the purchases can be shipped directly to the consumer or picked up for free at their stores.

Looking forward to it. Not sure how they’ll be able to compete price wise with the 3-4 other butchers in the neighborhood

All for new businesses, esp. in this crazed period...THO, isnt there a meatmarket about 60 yards upfield in the parkinglot there, with... Sprouts...?! (Goodstuff).
Seems another nice sitdown restaurant would work well - complimenting the always enticing Irish foods (and ...drink) at Mulleadys at one end, and the 'Americana' ClaimJumper, at the other end of the lot - like a nice GREEK RESTAURANT (lacking, in the area...) that would go well as compliment. Justa thot...
If not too late, maybe this 'wild fork', aside from 'having a little lamb', could marry up to some Greek food and dance, no?!

Hopefully some healthy competition will spur some price decreases in our local markets! Good old capitalism can't hurt!

I buy a lot of meat and meat products online like Snake River since I find the regular "supermarkets" don't carry a good selection. Can't wait for this market to open in my neighborhood.

Love your products. Nicely packed in dry ice for shipping. There was no thawing on any of my products. Very good quality so far... I will definitely buy more from Wild Fork.

I am currently an online customer of Wild Fork Foods, so I am happy that you are opening your California store near me.
