Mission Viejo Library returning to pre-pandemic operating hours July 10
The Mission Viejo Library is gearing up to return to pre-pandemic operating hours on Saturday, July 10.
Patrons will be able to enjoy the facility, its vast collection, programs and services from noon to 5 pm on Sunday; 10 am to 9 pm Monday through Thursday; 1 to 5 pm on Friday; and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday.
The library will continue to offer limited curbside service every day from 1 to 5 pm. Study rooms will also be available via reservation on PerfectMind.
Masks will continue to be required for unvaccinated folks over the age of 2.
“We worked hard during the pandemic to continue offering the community top-notch, valuable programs and services and are thrilled to welcome patrons back on a regular basis,” said Genesis Hanson, Director of Library and Cultural Services.
The Mission Viejo Library is located at 100 Civic Center. For more information, visit cmvl.org.
Great news! Thank you.
Sadly the city has succumbed to the illogical mask requirement after having bought in to the hysteria. Mission Viejo, once a beacon of the California promise and freedom has become yet another part of the freedom restricting tarnished State.
Are you doing a reading program for teens this year??
I see no option on line to change my email address
I always have holds and cannot receive emails when my books come in because my old email no longer exist.
Is the Friends of the Library bookstore open? Thanks
Do you take book donations?
I am interested in the bookstore, their book sales and events, their board of directors for the bookstore, friends of the library membership?
I want to know when the bookstore is open ? Do you have volunteers maning the bookstore?
How do you volunteer if you want a shift in the library?
