Free Composting Workshop April 16

The City and Waste Management are teaming up to host a free composting workshop at 10 am on Saturday, April 16 in The Kershaw Garden.

Residents can learn how to turn their yard and food waste into organic fertilizer through traditional composting or vermi-composting. Compost and vermi-composting containers will be available for Mission Viejo residents to purchase or order at a significant discount.

Registration is limited and required for this free workshop. To register, contact 949-470-8458 or greenmv@cityofmissionviejo.org.

The Kershaw Garden is nestled between City Hall and the Mission Viejo Library at 200 Civic Center.
