council chamber

The City Council on Tuesday, April 12 will consider approving a conditional agreement for a monetary contribution from the Nadadores Foundation to purchase and install new bleacher seating for the dive well area at the Marguerite Aquatics Complex.

The funding from the Nadadores Foundation for bleacher seating will allow many more spectators to enjoy the diving competitions and excitement at the facility.

During Tuesday's meeting, the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District will give a report about flea and mosquito issues as well as new control methods.

The Council meeting will follow the Planning and Transportation Commission's April 11 meeting where the Commission will consider denying ValueRock Realty's zone change request for the Gardens property. Per public notice requirements, the City Council will formally consider the Commission's recommendations during its May 10 meeting.

Council meetings start at 6 pm in the Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center. Meetings are streamed live on the City's website and air on Cox Channel 30 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Residents are encouraged to sign up for the City's eNewsletter and follow the City's official social media sites for the most accurate, up-to-date information.
