In the wake of the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, Secure OC Schools will host a panel discussion on Wednesday, June 8 from 6:30-8 pm in the Mission Viejo Council Chamber.

Secure OC Schools is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving school safety by increasing awareness, providing schools with additional safety resources, and developing a stronger regional network for collaboration and information sharing. Mayor Pro Tem Ed Sachs currently serves as Chairman of Secure OC Schools and will moderate the event, which will feature representatives from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and Safe Kids H.E.R.O. program.

The panel will discuss school safety and mental health, and guests will have the chance to ask questions. The public is invited.

The Mission Viejo Council Chamber is located at 200 Civic Center.

Ed: As you did not identify any legal authority to your position, I do not understand how your response relates to my request for copies for the IRS filings for the Secure Orange County Schools.

You launched the organization on February 26, 2018.

The IRS granted Secure Orange County Schools public charity status as of June 25, 2019. You are required to file annually Form 990, 990-EZ, or 990-N. If you do not have three years of filings, then please forward years that you have complied. The accounting period ends on June 30.

Donors can deduct contributions they make to Secure Orange County Schools.

Please comply with my request. Thank you, cathy

Good Morning, Ed.

The Secure Orange County Schools, GuideStar and Economic Research Institute websites do not have any financial information on your non-profit organization, Secure Orange County Schools.

The Secure OC Schools website Contact page has limited ability to contact you.

This is a request for copies for the last three (3) years for the IRS 990 filings.

Please advice of the reasonable fees to produce copies of these records, and when available, please inform so arrangements can be made for exchange of data and fees.

Thank you, cathy
