The Mission Viejo Library is teaming up with local nonprofit Science Heads to host an official NASA James Webb Space Telescope First Images program on Saturday, August 20 from 6 to 8 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.

NASA shared the first images gathered by the James Webb Space Telescope (the largest, most powerful and complex space telescope ever built and launched into space) on July 12. The library's program on August 20 will allow folks to see the images up close on a big screen, view the expert panel discussion and ask questions of our local NASA Solar System ambassadors.

The program caters to all ages, especially high school students. (The presentation includes high school-level science concepts.)
