Age Well Senior Services is seeking volunteers to help with its amazing services that benefit our seniors.

Age Well Senior Services is a nonprofit organization that provides daily lunch; Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors; care management; and additional services at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. The organization is seeking a variety of consistent long-term volunteers to assist with its programs and services between the hours of 9 am and 1:30 pm Monday through Friday.

If interested in the following positions, call 949-470-3063.

Bread Rack – Monitor the bread rack that includes donations from different vendors and pick up donations from vendors in the area.

Phone Reception and Check-In – Answer phones and take messages, check-in guests for lunch service, and light paperwork.

Lunch – Tasks include cleaning and setting up the kitchen for the day, lunch services and clean up.

Bingo on Wednesdays – Tasks include set up, check-in, Bingo announcer, and tech.

Special Events – Once a month, we host a large lunch serving about 100 guests that requires additional help. Tasks include setting up the table and food, serving, and cleaning up.

Meals On Wheels Drivers – Volunteers drive their own cars to deliver food in Mission Viejo and parts of Lake Forest. No route is more than 16 miles roundtrip. Age Well will reimburse drivers for gas at a rate of $.30 per mile. All volunteers are required to wear a mask and gloves while delivering food and to provide copies of their current driver’s license, car insurance and registration. Substitute drivers are currently sought to fill in for our regular drivers from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday. As routes become available, substitute drives will be offered open routes for weekly delivery.

For more information, call 949-470-3063.

I am interested in volunteering. I am a retired teacher and would be open to Bingo help, special event help, or reception help. Please let me know where to meet and or apply for this volunteer work.

I work with young adult service missionaries who may be able to volunteer and help with some of your activities. Please let me know how to sign up and what we would need to do to get started.

I am looking for a volunteer to spend time with a senior in a Mission Viejo Board and Care. She recently lost a good friend in the home, loves to garden and landscape and wants someone to engage with a couple of times per week.
