Muzzled dog rescued by Mission Viejo Animal Services has new lease on life with Chargers football player

robinson with new owners

Robinson, the renowned dog that was captured by Mission Viejo Animal Services Animal Control Officers while wearing a muzzle, found his forever home with an NFL player and his fiancé.

Sporting a football jersey in celebration of the adoption, Robinson went home today with Hunter Kampmoyer, a tight end for the Los Angeles Chargers, and his fiancé. When Robinson was loose on the streets of Rancho Santa Margarita, one of the callers who reported him as stray to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center was Kampmoyer’s future father-in-law.

The happy couple fell in love with the sweet dog, which will serve as the ring bearer in their upcoming nuptials.

I have been following this story since it first came out and so happy Robinson found his forever home.

Nothing has been said about the owner who muzzled the dog and let him loose. Do you know who that is? Will he or she be prosecuted?

I would like to see them have a muzzle placed on their nose and mouth and taken out into the wilderness for 3 days. It's only fair!
