Enjoy end-of-spring lap swimming at three City recreation centers
If you enjoy swimming laps, listen up! You can now make a splash at three City facilities thanks to the re-opening of the revamped Marguerite Aquatics Complex.
"To benefit every swimmer, our Recreation Department recently updated the City's end-of-spring lap swim hours at Sierra and Montanoso Recreation Centers and the Marguerite Aquatics Complex," said Recreation and Community Services Manager Lydie Gutfeld. "Each facility offers different options in time, lane length and water temperature. Lap swimming is good for the body and soul and provides an ideal way to stay in shape."
The Marguerite Aquatics Complex schedule allows non-members to swim for free through June. Starting in July, recreation membership and day-use fees will go into effect.
Lap swim schedules change often during the competitive swim season and to make way for summer recreational swimming, so be sure to check the City's Recreation page for the latest schedules and to find other great fitness options you and your family will enjoy.

Is there a recreation swim
Is there a recreation swim session available for parents with young kids in any of your pools? I am looking for a heated pool where I can teach my 4 yr old daughter to swim. I am aware of the free swim session for kindergarteners on Wednesdays from 12-3pm at the Montanoso pool, however this will end after May 15. Are there any dates/times for families of young children to use any of your pools after May 15th ? Thank you!
