Enjoy an early evening of live jazz April 8

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 8 to enjoy local jazz at its finest.

In celebration of the City’s Jazz Bear, the Brian Watson Quartet will perform from 4-6 pm at the Potocki Center for the Arts, 27301 La Paz Road.  

Along with Brian Watson on the trumpet, the quartet of Saddleback College students features Joseph Pena on drums; Cooper Sisley on keyboard and David Reynoso playing bass guitar. These talented musicians will perform well-known jazz standards, popular songs, and student compositions. 

Bring your favorite snacks and the whole family to the Potocki Center patio for a jazz experience you won’t want to miss.

I would like to attend the tribute to the jazz bear with one other person. We noticed the bear was gone and wondered if it was stolen. What happened to the bear?

Thank you for your comment on the News page and interest in the Jazz Bear. Unfortunately, the bear sustained a bit of damage and is currently hibernating while awaiting repair. The bear should be emerging from its slumber soon and we'll see you at the concert!

We are happy to report that the Jazz Bear has emerged from hibernation and WILL be in attendance at the concert on April 8th. We hope to see you there!
