Oktoberfest Night Market features stilt walker, wiener dog costume contest and more Sept. 16

Mission Viejo is kicking off Oktoberfest with the free monthly Night Market this Saturday, September 16 from 5-9 pm at the North Paseo, 25282 Marguerite Parkway.

The fun-filled Night Market will feature a German stilt walker, stein holding contest and Oktoberfest-themed food trucks like Wicked Sausage and The California Pretzel Company. You can also enjoy live music by the local band Sideways, crafts, photo opportunities, more than 20 food vendors, and a community display about the Core Area Vision. Beer will be available for purchase from Tap Truck OC.

If you are a dachshund owner, bring your four-legged friend in its most "paw-some" Oktoberfest costume and compete for the title of “Best Dressed Wiener!”
