Loving 3-year-old boxer needs a new forever home

neo

Neo is an extremely sweet and unique 3-year-old boxer in need of a forever home.

He was relinquished to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center by his former owner who loved the dog dearly but could no longer afford to care for him.

A fact that makes Neo different from a typical boxer is his different colored eyes. Known as heterochromia, the trait results from a lack of pigmentation in one eye causing it to appear blue. Despite some misconceptions about the trait, Neo has perfect vision and hearing.

Besides his unique eyes, Neo is a typical boxer that loves his toys, playing and going on walks.

The center's nonprofit DAWG is sponsoring his adoption, so Neo will go home to an approved applicant for $20.

Visit Neo at 28095 Hillcrest or call 949-470-3045 for more information.

We have an ancient labrador retriever and a couple of cats. Would this be a problem for Neo? Our dog was part of a threesome and is now the lonely one left...HE wouldn't have a problem, but we don't want him beaten up at his age.

Does Neon have issues that causes financial hardship on his owner? I have a boxer mix and keeshond mix I adopted from the same shelter. I would love to meet Neo. How is with other dogs?

Thanks,
Tom
