New Oggi’s Pizza & Brewing Company expected to open mid-September
Oggi’s Pizza & Brewing Company is expected to open its new Mission Viejo location in mid-September.
The City has been finalizing inspections of the 5,935-square-foot restaurant in the Gateway Center at 24042 Alicia Parkway. The building was revamped to include a new tower element, landscaping and outdoor dining area.
The chain restaurant is known for its Italian food, sports-themed atmosphere and micro-brewed beer.
In addition to Oggi’s, here’s a sampling of other restaurant news in town:
- The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opened at 26281 Avery Parkway.
- The old Bravo Burgers at 27200 La Paz changed names to Bravos California Fresh to reflect healthy and hearty options.
- Albertaco’s Mexican Food reopened at 28171 Marguerite Parkway after completing interior renovations.

Any word on the PopEye's chicken, a lot of folks, can't wait. It seems that they keep slipping the opening from what month to the general term of season, "in the Fall" Thanks

Yes, there are lots of people anxiously awaiting the opening of Popeyes! The contractors experienced a three month delay in the construction due to rain storms last fall and were unable to pour the foundation until the soil was dry and compact enough. It is now projected to open at the end of September.
