Girl donates bake sale proceeds to animal shelter

The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center is reaping the fruit of a local resident’s labor with a $110 donation to benefit the homeless animals at the shelter. 
 
The donation came from sweet Mia, who held a bake sale to raise money for the shelter.   Mia and her family adopted their dog from the center about 12 years ago, so she has grown up with her beloved dog and knows the value of rescuing pets.  Since she’s an avid animal lover, Mia decided to raise money specifically to support the center.
