Meet beloved celebrity author Candace Cameron Bure as she reads and signs her children's book "Candace Center Stage" at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17 in Mission Viejo.

"Candace Center Stage" tells the story of a little girl who dances to the beat of her own drum.  She loves to dance, but when her mother signs her up for ballet lessons, Candace quickly realizes she's no ballerina.  When disaster strikes on recital night, Candace saves the day by doing what she does best - being Candace.

New York Times bestselling author Candace Cameron Bure is a producer and actress beloved by millions worldwide for her role as D.J. Tanner on the iconic family sitcoms "Full House" and "Fuller House." She has appeared in Hallmark Channel movies, is a former co-host of "The View" and was a Season 18 finalist on "Dancing with the Stars." Candace continues to flourish in the entertainment industry as a role model to women of all ages.  She lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and three children.

This fun Writers Present event in the City Hall Saddleback Room is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library and A Whale of a Tale Bookshoppe. Book sales begin at 5 p.m., with first-come, first-served seating starting at 5:30 p.m.  Books will be signed in order of book purchase at the event.

I cannot WAIT to go! Ive grown up to watch Candace on screen and now to see her as a mom like I am now and write a book for my own daughter to read. This could not have come at a better time! See everyone there!
