Stunning quilt exhibit at Mission Viejo Library

quilt art

The next time you drop by the Mission Viejo Library, check out the Yellow Line exhibit by Quilts On The Wall.

Quilts On The Wall is an association of textile artists founded in 1998 in response to a growing number of folks who wanted to take traditional quilting into the realm of one-of-a-kind artwork pieces adorned on walls.

Members take part in two challenges a year that foster development of individual style, technique and material experimentation.  The most recent challenge tasked the artists in creating a 12 x 48 piece with a yellow line entering and exiting each side. The yellow line in each piece unifies the exhibit from one artwork to the next while retaining each artist's individual style and interpretation of what the yellow line represents.

This stunning exhibit is on display at 100 Civic Center through January 25.

Good afternoon, I was at the library this morning to see the quilt exhibit that was supposed to be there. Would you please tell me where it was moved to ?
Thank you

Thank you for your interest in the quilt exhibit. It is still on display and is located to the right of the front door, just past the large print books and magazines.
