How did Mission Viejo become the “California Promise?”  Join former Mayor Robert D. Breton for this timeless tale in a special presentation on Sunday, January 27.

The Library’s History Lecture Series returns in 2019, commencing with this entertaining and informative account at 3 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 200 Civic Center.  

Featuring stories, amusing anecdotes and over 200 slides, many from the Library’s bountiful local history archives, the event will conclude with a Q & A session and fun-filled pop quiz.

Looking forward to this presentation. I’m always amazed when learning about our rich culture here in Mission Viejo. I walk away even more proud of this fine city! I appreciate these presentations.
