Have your sensitive documents shred for free this Saturday
To help residents and businesses dispose of sensitive documents like tax records, bank statements and legal documents safely and securely, the City is hosting its next document shredding event on Saturday, April 6 at Mission Viejo High School.
Bring up to 10 bags or boxes of sensitive materials to drop off in the school parking lot at 25025 Chrisanta Drive from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for immediate shredding by Orange County Shredding. Binders and notebooks will not be accepted.

Please. The next time you do this give more than 1 day notice.
Knowing this last week would certainly helped me get things ready better to bring. Thank you.
Hope you do this more often.

The City notified us about a 3 weeks ago. Nextdoor.com repeated it a couple times and the City had a shredding event last February also. It is only a 2 hour period as they have learned the longer periods just have a lot of people standing around on the payroll as the first 2 hours attract 90% of the FREE EVENT.

We do not have dates yet but there will be two more events in 2019 – one in the summer and one in the fall. If you subscribe to our eNewsletter, the information will be publicized there (typically a few weeks before the event). If you don’t subscribe and would like to, please follow this link and choose the first eNewsletter listed: https://cityofmissionviejo.org/subscribe
