In an effort to promote traffic safety, Mission Viejo Police Services is hosting a Defensive Driving Workshop twice this month.

For the public’s convenience, the workshop will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to noon in the City Council Chamber and then again on Thursday, May 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the City Hall Saddleback Room.

Deputy Dixon, who has worked in Mission Viejo for nearly two decades, will lend his vast expertise as a motor enforcement deputy and with traffic collision investigation. Community Service Officer Stumph has investigated more than 3,700 traffic collisions and accumulated over 1,000 hours of training relating to traffic accidents. She is one of about only 2,000 people worldwide who’ve obtained accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).
