Clear the Shelters $20 pet adoption promotion on Aug. 17

The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center will take part in the annual Clear the Shelters event on August 17, offering every homeless pet available for adoption at a huge discount.

Every year, NBC stations team up with hundreds of animal shelters to host Clear the Shelters, a national pet adoption drive on August 17 to help find loving homes for animals in need.  Since 2015, Clear the Shelters has resulted in more than 250,000 pet adoptions nationwide.

In Mission Viejo, every homeless pet at the Animal Services Center will be available that day to approved applicants for only $20.
