Ruby is a loving dog who needs a loving, patient family

Ruby is an adorable 4-year-old terrier mix looking for a home.  Ruby was relinquished to our shelter because her former owner was ill, and this sweet pup was too much energy for him.  

Although she is an active young dog, she is also extremely shy of new people and situations.  She would do best with a family that has previous dog experience and will be patient and kind to her while she builds her confidence.  Ruby occasionally has a potty accident when she is nervous, so it is recommended that she find a home with yard space she can use when needed.  Since she is a sensitive pup who wants to be the center of attention, young children and other dogs may be too much for her.
