Free Document Shredding Event set for March 7

To help residents and businesses safely and securely dispose of sensitive documents like tax records, bank statements and legal documents, the City and Waste Management are hosting a Document Shredding event on Saturday, March 7 at Mission Viejo High School.

Residents can bring up to 10 bags or boxes of sensitive materials to drop off in the school parking lot at 25025 Chrisanta Drive from 9-11 am for immediate shredding by Orange County Shredding. Binders and notebooks will not be accepted.

The event is open to Mission Viejo residents only. For more information, contact greenmv@cityofmissionviejo.org.

The May 30 shred event was cancelled due to COVID-19. Another date has not been scheduled at this time however, the City and Waste Management will definitely be resuming the shred events when it is possible. We will publicize the future shred events on our Events Calendar and News Page and will also send out notification in our weekly eNewsletter.
