Mission Viejo Permit Days each Wednesday will save residents time

If you plan on making improvements to your home, you can save time and energy through a new program the City of Mission Viejo is launching this month.

Available every Wednesday beginning February 28, Mission Viejo Permit Day is designed to expedite the plan review and approval process in a single day for qualified projects. The program can issue permits for residential remodels, one-story home additions, decks, patio covers, swimming pools and spas, residential retaining walls and other qualified projects.

Projects like small residential solar systems, window replacements, air conditioning units and such have always been handled over the counter. So, by adding additional projects that will be approved in one day, the City will save residents more time and trips to City Hall.
