Join the Mission Viejo Library at the Shops at Mission Viejo for an afternoon of STEM activities, back-to-school resources, and fun giveaways! Learn about safe Internet use with Cox Communications, child identity theft and Internet Safety with the OC Sheriff's Department, and check out the new fashion this year with the Shops.

This event will be held at the Shops at Mission Viejo on Level 1 by Nordstrom.

Monthly drop-in sessions meet every first Sunday from Noon to 1 pm for library-related electronic resources.

Bring your mobile devices, passwords for the app store, and receive one-on-one assistance with all the online resources the library offers.

We will set you up with digital books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, music and more.

The Mission Viejo Tale Trail is back! Thanks to the First Partner Book to Action funding opportunity, the Mission Viejo Library has been able to purchase new mobile Tale Trail stands. 

Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and enjoy free books, games, activities, and interactive storytimes in The Kershaw Garden next to the library.

Come join the fun and learn about the different shapes, sizes, and dispersal methods of sensational seeds. Families will have the opportunity to delve into the world of seeds with songs, an acorn demonstration, and a planting activity that kids can bring home for ongoing observation.

Keep up your reading skills with a reading specialist and teen volunteers! Children 6 and older are welcome to join us in the children's area to practice reading skills with helpful guidance.

Children can bring their own books or choose from the shelves. This also counts toward Summer Reading!

Reading Buddies fight the summer slump!

Every Thursday children 6 and older are invited to meet at the library to keep up their reading skills. Join us in the children's area to practice reading with helpful guidance from a reading specialist and teen library volunteers. Children are welcome to bring their own books or choose from the library's collection.
