The community is invited to the Mission Viejo Library’s second Local Author Showcase and Book Fair on Sunday, June 30.

This program is designed to support local authors and takes place from 1-4 pm at the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

Authors from across Orange County will discuss their writing journey and have their latest books available for purchase.

No registration is required for this free program that caters to all ages.

Kids are invited to strengthen their read-aloud skills by reading to Fiona, a trained therapy dog. Bring a book from home or grab one from the library shelves. 

Age 6 and older.

Shop bargains and support the Mission Viejo Library at the Friends of the Library’s two-day Summer Book Sale this Friday and Saturday, June 7-8. 

The sale takes place near the front entrance of the library at 100 Civic Center. Stop by on Friday, between 1-4:30 pm or Saturday, between 10 am-4 pm.

Come celebrate building community through creativity at the Mission Viejo Poetry + Art Collaborative exhibit reception on Monday, June 17 at 6 pm.

Launched by the Mission Viejo Library last year, the Poetry + Art Collaborative is an interactive project that highlights our community’s creativity and brings people together through literature and art.
