Don’t miss the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library's Annual Holiday Book Sale December 2-3 at 100 Civic Center.

A variety of nearly new materials for all ages will be available for purchase including children’s books, holiday-themed, coffee-table books and cookbooks as well as records, CDs, Blu-Rays, games and puzzles. Prices mostly range from $.50 to $2, and cash and credit cards will be accepted for payment. New items will be available each day.

Coloring for Adults at the Mission Viejo Library happens every second Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Heritage Reading Porch area. 

Join us to reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and exercise your creative side. A few colored pencils are all it takes! Coloring for Adults is a free program designed to provide adults with a calm outlet to express their creativity. 

For adults 18 and older. No registration required. All supplies provided.

Think you know it all? Gather at the Mission Viejo Library's Storytime Room for a fun evening of general knowledge trivia with your favorite librarians.

Think you know it all? Gather at the Mission Viejo Library's Storytime Room for a fun evening of general knowledge trivia with your favorite librarians.

Bring blankets, pillows, and other fort-making equipment and enjoy reading with your family in your fort! Light refreshments will be provided.

Ages 3 and older.

Join Khaleh Sara for this special monthly storytime! Bilingual Persian Storytime will be performed in both Farsi and in English, and celebrate the diverse Persian culture. Following storytime there will be coloring activities and play time.

Sensory Storytime is an inclusive storytime geared toward neurodivergent children. This program is ideal for children age 3 and older and their caregivers. Children will enjoy a 30-minute storytime using preschool-level books, songs, and activities. Following storytime, children are welcome to social and play with toys that engage all the senses.
