The City of Mission Viejo and Mission Viejo Activities Committee are gearing up for the holidays with several free family-friendly events for all ages.
Holiday Home Lighting Contest
Courtney Clothier is a full-time Registered Nurse whose love and knowledge of sports, music, games, and more, turned into hosting self-curated trivia nights. What started as a couple fun nights of trivia with friends and family, is now enjoyed by sold out crowds. Clothier’s trivia nights are hosted with a variety of categories that will test your knowledge, matched with a fun and inviting atmosphere for you and your team to enjoy. It’s free to play and all answers will be written down with pen on paper. No cell phones will be allowed!

Visit local vendors at the Whoville Holiday Night Market and take a picture with the Grinch and Cindy Lou.
Both areas will have live music, activities, food options and beer/wine for purchase.

The City and Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce are seeking nonprofits for the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Health Fair on Saturday, February 22 at the Norman P. Murray Center.
This community event promotes healthy living while raising funds for local nonprofit organizations, which receive 100 percent of pre-registration fees when selected by participants.
The Oso Fit 5K Fun Run raised more than $20,000 last year to help nonprofits achieve their financial goals.

Santa Claus will arrive in style to the Mission Viejo Civic Center on Sunday, December 1.
This festive celebration for people of all ages kicks off at 3 pm with crafts, holidays games, petting zoo, food trucks and more.
The Main Stage Entertainment will feature live performances, enchanting holiday shows, and lively dance routines. At 6 pm Santa arrives atop a fire engine to usher in the holidays with the help of children turning on Mission Viejo's spectacular lights.
Enjoy live entertainment, games, food vendors, photo opportunities and more during the Night Market.
