The Chabad of Mission Viejo will celebrate the Jewish Festival of Lights from 3-5 pm Sunday, December 10 on the Village Green at 24932 Veterans Way.  

The community event will feature Chanukah music and entertainment, games, activities, a bounce house, creative crafts, face painting, cookie decorating and much more. 

Folks of all ages are invited and will embrace the wonderment of Chanukah with the lighting of the menorah; singing traditional holiday songs; and eating latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiot (jelly donuts).

3rd Annual Thanksgiving Tennis Social November 26 

Invite your friends and family to enjoy the 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Tennis Social from 9 am to 12:30 pm Sunday, November 26. Participants will enjoy two hours of co-ed doubles tennis in a round-robin format followed by lunch and a variety of PIE! Prizes will be awarded.   

If you’re looking for a special venue to host a holiday party or private event, look no further. The City’s recreation centers boast some amazing spots including The Deck; The Playground; The Yard; Marguerite Tennis Pavilion; and Norman P. Murray Center.  

The Deck at the Montanoso Recreation Center is the perfect place for an intimate gathering with modern seating areas featuring televisions, fire pits, small refrigerators, and poolside Wi-Fi.   

Children are invited to strike a pose with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santa's Workshop on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Bring your camera to capture two (2) photos of the holiday magic. All are encouraged to enjoy Santa's Village any day of the week. Admission is free.
