Senior Drop-and-Go non-perishable Food Drive will take place from 9 am to noon on Thursday, June 15 at the North Paseo, 25282 Marguerite Parkway. 

Hosted by the Senior Leadership Committee, the drive-through, drop-off event will benefit low- and fixed-income seniors who experience food insecurities and use the senior grocery program at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.   

Start your summer season off right with an enchanting evening of Grapes & Grains on Friday, May 26. 

Held from 5:30-8 pm on the Norman P. Murray Center terrace, Grapes & Grains features wine and beer tastings complemented by live music. 

The community is invited to learn about the fentanyl and opioid crisis taking place in Orange County during the "Addressing the Opioid Crisis in Orange County" forum on Wednesday, May 10 from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Norman P. Murray Center.

The City of Mission Viejo, OC Health Care Agency, Orange County Sheriff's Department and Orange County Supervisor Donald P. Wagner, Third District are sponsoring the free forum.

The City of Mission Viejo is hosting Water Safety Day and a fun-filled open house from 2-4 pm on Saturday, May 20 at the Sierra Recreation and Fitness Center.

Families are invited to visit water safety vendors, enjoy poolside music, swim, participate in games and crafts and join the Water Safety Challenge. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from the Corazon De La Casa Mom's Kitchen Food Truck. You will also have the chance to provide ideas for future programs and services at the recreation center.

Enjoy a relaxing Tuesday evening on the Terrace at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. Concerts will take place the last Tuesday of the month from 4:30-6:30 pm and include live music. Beer and wine will be available for purchase from the Mission Viejo Rotary Club as well as snacks from Senior Leadership Committee. Cash is preferred. You can reserve your seats starting at 3:30 pm. Montanoso fitness instructor Sarah will guide you through a HIIT Boot Camp class designed to challenge your cardio, build your strength, and make you love your outdoor workout! This is a FREE class for participants age 14 and older. Participants should wear workout clothes and tennis shoes, and bring a towel and water bottle. Equipment will be provided.

The summer edition of Mission Viejo Life is now online – offering information about summer camps, a variety of classes for all ages, and special events spanning the next few months. 

Inside the pages are details about exciting summer events including the Fourth of July Street Faire, Concerts on the Green, Symphony in the Cities and much more.

Enjoy an evening filled with live music from Bruno and the Hooligans, a tribute band offering a unique experience that provides an exciting mix of the funk of R&B sound of Bruno Mars. 

This concert will feature free bounce houses for kids, gourmet food trucks, beer and wine for purchase and a Business Expo hosted by the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce. Connecting local businesses with the community, the Business Expo is from 4-8 pm with the concert beginning at 6 pm.

Enjoy an evening filled with live music from Pop Vision, a Los Angeles-based band known for their fiery, energetic performances covering songs that span the gamut of Top 40. The concert will feature free bounce houses for kids along with gourmet food trucks and beer and wine for purchase. Concertgoers can bring low-back chairs and blankets to enjoy the show but should leave their pets at home.
