Join us for a free dance lesson at the North Paseo.  A certified instructor from the Norman P. Murray Community Center who teaches dances such as the Foxtrot, Swing, Salsa, Tango, Country Western 2 Step, and more will be available between 5:30-6:30 pm. The instructor will teach moves from two to three of these dances and will make learning them fun and easy. Get dinner or dessert afterward in The Village Center and savor it while sitting in the beautifully decorated and uniquely new North Paseo space with water fountains, shade, plants, and chairs.

Join us at the North Paseo for Star Wars trivia day! This fun and free trivia event will have 3 rounds and the top 3 winners will win a prize. On National Lollipop Day, pop over to the North Paseo for some cool activities and fun! Residents are invited to bring their classic cars to display with the "Just Having Fun" car club's collection. Along with cool cars, this event boasts crafts for kids and free lollipops. DJ Mad Platter will play music, and guests can grab lunch or dessert in the Village Center to savor while sitting in the beautifully decorated and unique new North Paseo space with water fountains, shade, plants, and chairs.

"Common Sense" is not just another reggae band from Orange County. With a SoCal background and a small beach-town attitude, "Common Sense" took its reggae-rock influences and created its own style. The group's music bridges the gap between reggae, rock, pop, funk, and soul. The concert will feature free bounce houses for kids along with gourmet food trucks and beer and wine for purchase. Concertgoers can bring low-back chairs and blankets to enjoy the show but should leave their pets at home.

Enjoy a night with "Family Style" performing music from Stevie Wonder, Prince, and James Brown plus a healthy dose of David Bowie, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Santana. "Family Style" will get you on your feet for a funky good time. The concert will feature free bounce houses for kids along with gourmet food trucks and beer and wine for purchase. Concertgoers can bring low-back chairs and blankets to enjoy the show but should leave their pets at home. 

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee (MVAC) is seeking volunteers to join this amazing committee that has been hosting community events for more than five decades.

Volunteers are sought to help create memories with fun family events like the 4th of July Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular, annual Gift and Goodies Boutique, Orangewood Children's Center visits, Santa's Arrival and workshop, Rudolph's Skating Rink, scholarship awards and more.  The committee is a great way to meet new friends and give back to the community.

The City of Mission Viejo is teaming up with Stop Drowning Now to host the annual Water Safety Day from 2-4 pm on Saturday, May 21 at the Sierra Recreation and Fitness Center, 26887 Recodo Lane. 

Families are invited to visit water safety vendors, enjoy poolside music, and participate in games, crafts, and giveaways. Refreshments will be available for purchase. As a special treat, folks will enjoy a bubble party with Bubble mania from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
